However, there is a significant proportion of junior Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches with backgrounds in Social Sciences, Medicine, and Psychology, which may be a sign of an increasing influence of lean and agile principles in other fields. With a median income of $67,700, they earn more than in our last report but still have a couple of steps to climb on the income ladder until they reach the general sample’s income. However, compared to other professions, this median income is still a good argument for considering a career as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
